Weekly prayer for Forgiveness 

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts that may be hurt, burdened, or struggling to let go. You know every disappointment, every painful word, and every wound we carry. Please give us the strength to forgive those who have hurt us, even when forgiveness feels difficult. Help us release bitterness, anger, resentment, and the desire to hold onto the past. Teach us to forgive as You forgive—with grace, mercy, and love. We ask You to heal our hearts and bring peace where there has been pain. Help us remember that forgiving others does not excuse what happened; it frees us from the weight of carrying it alone. Give us wisdom to set healthy boundaries when needed, while still choosing compassion in our hearts. Forgive us also for the ways we have hurt others, knowingly or unknowingly, and guide us to seek forgiveness with humility. May Your love soften our hearts, restore our relationships where possible, and lead us toward healing. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
